Rocky Mountain Therapy Services (RMTS) West Jordan Clinic has been providing services in West Jordan since 2001. We appreciate working with the physicians in our medical complex, and the community as well as those in surrounding communities. Through our working relationship with physicians, we are able to provide a quality outcome and patient education focus to each client. RMTS enjoys working with the community, area employers and student athletes and their parents and coaching staff to assist in reaching positive theraputic outcomes. Under the Direction of Rick Wortley, PT, DPT, and a friendly, trained support staff, the clinic has reached out and become a strong supportive partner to the local community.
RMTS has been a provider of comprehensive and state of the art Sports Medicine services for more than 25 years.
Sports medicine involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing medical injuries or conditions in individuals who are active in sports and focuses on health issues that are caused during or by playing sports.
The sports medicine team refers to the physician, the athletic trainer, the physical therapist, the athlete, and the coaches who must work together to ensure rapid access to medical care, appropriate and timely intervention, and a team approach aimed towards recovery and return to sport.
Our West Jordan sports medicine team helps hundreds of athletes take control of their performance by staying injury-free and in the game. Professional and amateur athletes of any age can benefit from our dedicated treatment and prevention of sports injuries. No matter what sport you play, from football to basketball to bow hunting or dancing, you can trust us to provide the best quality of care for your sports injuries.
Located on Redwood Road just off 90th South in West Jordan, in close proximity to physicians and employers our facility offers a comfortable and warm atmosphere for our patient’s recovery from an injury or surgery. This clean, energetic, modern facility provides clients with the most up to date theraputic equiptment and, along with our highly skilled staff provides a great environment for healing and education.

Our Team
Rick Wortley, Physical Therapist PT, DPT, MBA
Rick graduated from the University of Utah in 1987 and has been working as an outpatient orthopedic therapist for 34 years. He graduated from A.T. Still University, with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2020. He recently completed the Utah high point challenge by hiking to the highest point of each county in Utah. He also likes to spend time with his family water skiing and golfing. He is not a believer in the "no pain no gain"
theory. He believes that it is better to make gains without increasing pain when possible.
